New Post on HTI Blog: SPAMBUSTER Part 3

_

Here is my latest post on the High Touch Blog. This post is not AS exciting as the others in this series, but it’s one of my favorite subjects. It’s funny how even some of the most experienced IT/Web professional miss this and as a result end up causing all kinds of trouble on their network. Even if you are not the most tech savvy person on the planet I encourage you to take some time -if you have any- and read this over. It’s never to late to SPAMBUST!

Doritos TV Spots.

Some commercials have the making of greatness. I have collected a video gallery of my favorites from this year’s Superbowl contest. Of my favorites the one with the kid and the one about the new flavor made me laugh the hardest.

New Design

New Design

So I am re-launching luisrodriguez.com to today! Along with the new look comes a few new things.

On the home page you’ll find a slider designed to showcase was it is I do all day at work. (At least the announced projects.) I plan to throw in some of my older work  as I get time. The showcase slider is powered by jQuery scripts so its light, fast, and efficient. You might also notice words that are a white color; these are links. If you mouse over the link it will alert you if the link is internal (meaning within luisarodriguez.com) or external (everywhere else on the inter-webs).

Since I work with computers so I try to make up for my lack of social skills by having a presence on the ever growing social networking sphere. In fact, if you should want to leave comments on any of my posts you can login using your Facebook login. Otherwise you will be required to setup an account. I plan on supporting more social sites like Digg and Flickr. I’ve also added some “micro-blogging” capabilities too. I can update the mobile updates section of my site via SMS.

As the last major change I’ve organized my blog a little better and now you can find all my posts on the Blog tab. I will also -unofficially- syndicate my favorite posts from other sites and my posts from the High Touch Blog.

I hope you like the changes and I encourage you to leave your thoughts on the changes to the site in the comment section below.
